How To: Keep Steam for Mac Data in an Alternate Location

Steam for Mac is great, and I’m really enjoying Portal at the moment. I recently upgraded the storage setup of my new Core i7 MacBook Pro 15″ by: – swapping the boot drive to an 80Gb SSD (Intel X-25M V2) – swapping the optical drive to a 500Gb HDD (using an Optibay) – installing the [...]

How To: Successfully switch between multiple iTunes accounts from different countries

I have, up until just now, been vexed. Vexed by the seemingly random nature of my iPhone 3G’s reactions when switching between my Australian and my US iTunes accounts. I now have a jailbroken iPhone 3G, running firmware 2.2.1.

Jailbreaking the iPhone 3G – Part 1 – iPhone Firmware 2.2 / OS X 10.5.6

Where I try to jailbreak my iPhone 3G from Apple’s 2.2 firmware, using a Mac upgraded to the latest OS X 10.5.6.
And I fail, multiple times, for a number of reasons.
